VISITOR REGISTRATION 2026 - BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR REGISTRATION
The Africa International Defence Exhibition (AFRIDEX) operates a secure registration and approval process for all attendees.
Please ensure you have the following documents ready before starting your application:
ALL REGISTRATIONS REQUIRE:
- Valid passport identification
- A recent passport-style photograph
Additional documents are required for specific attendee groups:
- Military and Armed Forces personnel, current or retired: valid military ID
- Government officials: valid government ID
- Students: valid student ID
ACCESS BY DATE
26 October 2026 | Day 1
Day 1 is open to exhibitors, invitees and paid delegates only. The Welcome Ceremony on Day 1 is open to invitees and paid delegates only.
27–29 October 2026 | Days 2–4
The exhibition is open to all approved attendees.
REGISTRATION APPROVAL
All registrations are subject to security vetting and approval by the NIA/DIA before access is confirmed.
Please allow up to four working days for your application to be reviewed and processed.

BADGE OPTIONS
MILITARY
For armed forces personnel and authorised military representatives.
All current or retired military badges must provide a military ID passport and photo at registration.
GOVERNMENT
For ministries, agencies, policymakers, capability teams and public-sector defence and security stakeholders.
All government badges must provide a government ID, passport and photo at registration
INDUSTRY
For defence and security companies, primes, OEMs, SMEs, service providers, systems integrators and dual-use innovators.
All industry badges must provide a passport and photo at registration.
EXHIBITOR
Please speak to your Exhibition Organiser to get an Exhibitor Badge via the Exhibitor Manual.
All Exhibitor badges must provide a passport and photo at registration.
GENERAL ATTENDANCE
For the general public looking to attend the event.
All General Attendence badges must provide a passport and photo at registration.
PRESS
For accredited journalists, editors, photographers, broadcasters and recognised media representatives covering the event.
All Press badges must provide a Press ID, passport and photo at registration.
STUDENT
For students and early-career learners with a legitimate academic interest in defence, security, technology, policy, readiness or industrial development.
All Students badges must provide a Student ID, passport and photo at registration.
